Ebony Splendid Staunton Chess Set with Black and Madrona Burl Board
A magnificent Staunton Splendid Chess Set in Ebony and Boxwood triple weighted with double Queens and a 4 and 1/2 inch King on a 1 and 3/4 inch base. The board is of Black and Madrona Burl Veneer with a thin stripe separating the playing surface from the surrounding frame. The board measures 20 and 1/2 inches by 20 and 1/2 inches by 1/2 inch with 2.2 inch squares. The pieces are made in India and the board in Spain.
