A wood Chessmen set in the Staunton Old Russian style with tops of the oppossing color for the Bishops, made of Ebony and Boxwood by the renowned Checkmate Company of Chandigrah India. The pieces are double weighted and felted. The King is 3 and 3/4 inches tall with a base diameter of 1 and 1/2 inches.
The different design on the Bishops gives this lovely set a distinctively Old World look and the heavily weighted pieces add an aspect of massiveness to your play..
